Hey everyone! The practice BABY has her permit!

Just a note to let the people that I care about know that the Practice BABY has her permit to drive a CAR! Can you believe it?
Not only is she a freshman in high school and in the marching band but she will soon be on the road almost an adult!

She is very talented.
She is in honors drama & art.
She is in honors band.
She loves animie. I don't know how to spell it but it's that Japanese cartoon stuff!
She love to write short stories & poetry.
And she is getting great grades in high school to boot!!!

Can You Believe It!!!

I feel old!
I think I'll go downstairs now and get a glass of milk and some pop tarts and go to bed!

Say it isn't so FRED!!!

I just got home and I find that the most fit man in the Republican race for the White House has QUIT!!!
Oh am I heart broken and in mortal FEAR of the Republican Libs getting into the White House.
The lib drive by media with now push McCain & Huckabee to the mindless masses that watch the network new cast to get their gospel as news.
I now think I will turn to the lesser of the evils in the race.
The true outsider---Mitt Romney! Maybe?
I will ponder this the next couple of weeks.
I can't with good conscience vote for Huckabee or McCain.
But if it came to one of them as the nominee then I will vote Republican.
I will not put a Socialist. OOPS! I mean a democrat in that office!

I did vote for Fred this past Saturday thinking he was the best man for the JOB!
I really thought he would go on and try to show better in the south.
Maybe he will be the Vice President?
We'll see????

Wedding update........

We have the Summit Club for the reception but our Church fell through......
The planning goes on.......

Vote 2008 -- Jan. 19th

I think I have finally made up my mine as to who I will vote for in the primary election this weekend.
I will vote using my gut!
I disagree with the way McCain acts as a lib on some issues.
Romney has some good ideas but there is just someting I don't feel good about.
The mafia Don from NY & the Preacher from Arkansas just don't work for me....

I like Fred!
There is something Reagan like about him.
I know I have said that he dosen't seem to have his heart totally in the race.
I like what he says.
In the end if he is not the nominee I will support any Republican!
Any Republican would be better than the Socialist--OOP! Democrate party!!

New Year's Reso-wha?

Who thought up New Year's resolutions?
I try to dream up some resolutions for the new year but always end up giving up on them soon after the year starts.......
Who ever thought up this resolution thing needed to have their head examined.

2008. The race begins!

Now that the country has a couple of primaries under it's belt it's been kinda interesting to watch the lib media chase it's tail. There is no front runner yet and the ordained 1st female pres. is not in the lead crushing her competition.
I like Fred but I think his Heart is just not in it. Also, he may have waited just to long to get in the fight. The lib media just is not giving him his due coverage! With that said I think I'll look harder at Romney. By the 19Th I think I will have made up my mind. I will vote as I always due just to have my say....
On a lighter note! Sherry & I have started to race to the alter! Getting Married on 6/7/08 is coming up fast. We spent time with my mother last night picking out invitation and the reception hall & eats. I think that they also picked the flowers & stuff too?
I believe I will be getting married in dress blues(uniform).
I just hope things don't spiral into the expensive!
We also talked to the Minister tonight to begin the process to getting the Church and the counseling for the wedding to happen...
It's becoming a real entity

The great thing about the wedding is the joining of our to families will be better than the election!

Monday's

Just as much as I look forward to Fridays I dread Mondays.
I just had a good weekend with my oldest son.
Sunday nights begin the Monday blahs.
He has to go back to his mother and once again the house is almost as quiet as a tomb.
The 2 dogs & 2 cats make just enough noise.
Monday back to work...
I over slept by 1.5 hours.
Thank God I already had my clothes ready for work.
The alarm goes off at 5 a.m. and I get up at 6am
Today I hit snooze and got up at 7:30 a.m..
Today only got better after work when Sherry & the kids came over.

TGIF! I ramble again....

I can't thank GOD enough for creating FRIDAYS!!!!
I have been off by 1 day all week. I only had Tuesday off for New Years Day as a state holiday.
I have enjoyed my new job at the R& E ctr but the inmates are painting the doors a new color. Grey?
As if prison needs to be more glum.
I am getting the hang of things in my new environs and getting to know my new employees.
I have worked in Corrections now for nearly 16 years.
And I still have my sanity believe it or not....
I now only have just under 9 years left until retirement.
WOW! Only 9 years......
IN my 42 years of life I have spent 12 years of school
7 years in college
Married 2 time & divorce 2 times as well
I have been engaged 4 times.
I have been a parent now for just over 15 years
(Also the greatest adventure I have ever undertaken!)
So to be married a third time.....!!!!!
Third times the charm! Right!
I lived 12 1/2 years in the Dayton Ohio area (Springboro, Centerville & Washington Township)
And now the majority in the Columbia South Carolina are(Irmo)
My hair is going grey when It's not mostly all cut off.
My eyes are now taking their own time to focus. I guess it's time for glasses.
Teeth need work.
Dentists is a racket..... Charge a bunch of money for little work!

Mean while Fridays.

I live for Friday!

It means days off most of the time.

Drill every 1st weekend of the month
Church every Sunday.

Soccer every Saturday during the season (spring & fall)

And the most important I get my kids! Well most weekends.
As the kids get older I understand their lives get priority.
And my youngest is in Florida to far away for every weekend and special times during the week.

Also, Now quailty time with Sherry. My future Bride!!!

Also this weekend a big thanks to the Coach & Mrs. Sal for letting me know that I'm not alone in the way I feel about my walk with God.....

Well got to get my beauty sleep I have drill in the morning.
