Reflections on 43.

I know I have not Blogged here in awhile. Just to much going on in this neo-socialist America I love. Obama--Question if Bama is equal to Alabama then why is the president's last name not Obomba? Random thought!
Well the reason I post today.
I will be 44 on this coming Thursday and I have to admit this year has been the hardest of my adult life. I have been moved around on my job. Now mind you moved doesn't mean promoted.
I am now a paid a 5c salary for doing 4c work. That is the pay scale of the State of S.C. government. Most of the money I earn is just to pay bills that have gone thorough the roof in the last year. I still manage to do it thanks to my lovey WIFE.
I have learn this last year that I hate getting older. The body is not as young as it once was and let's me know about once every week.
I joined Facebook and found old friends once lost. That is also scary in that a lot are liberal.
The fact I will be 44 this year and have less than 8 years to retirement is very scary.
I will have 3 kids this year with beginners driving permits is really giving me gray hair.
The first is just 2 years from graduating from High School is , well , WOW!!!
I have not been going to church regularly and I know I should. But I do pray multiple time a day so I hope I'm not a total lost cause.

My hope is that this next year brings more financial security and more quality time with my family. I also need to improve my relationships with my dad, brother and mother.
I also need to visit my Grands in Ohio before they are gone, as well as, my aunts & uncles and my cousins & their kids.....

In that order...................

I married again in the past year and gain another part of my family.
So, 43 can not be a total write off.
Just hard.

I hope next year is a little easier..................
